Environment design and textures for games



Some examples of the work I have completed at Tafe this year as part of the Diploma of Screen and Media.
These were both projects for my texturing class. First is a Adelaide style Federation cottage which would have been built around 1900.
Below are the orthographics I created as studies of the style, period and architecture. The final textured model is just of the front of the building, as would be seen from the street in a game.





Below is an interior design for an underwater Art Deco engine room/hall. The first image is a concept painted over a very basic roughed out model created in Maya, followed by the final textured environment. All the textures and components are modular, allowing for quick alterations of the scene and for use in other rooms and environments.
